Beach Family Photo Time is Getting Close!

by

Get Ready! Beach season is coming and so is that beach vacation that you deserve!

The air is starting to warm up and the water is too!

I just love the Spring and Summer months when I get to see my return clients and catch up on all they have been doing, I see how much the children have grown and changes and the best part...I get to capture these beautiful families and their love and laughter! I always get excited when I send the image gallery to them and get back their excited and sometimes tearfully happy responses!

If you are booking your vacation, don't forget to schedule your photography session too before I get all booked up. Its always nice to have the option of multiple days to find the day that best fits your plans.

Oh, and ladies...watch those men! They have a tendency to sneak in and schedule a fishing trip on the day you want your pictures taken. Ofcourse they would rather be fishing!

I can also recommend some fishing charters and great restaurants, like Beau's on Thomas Drive, for the best BBQ and some awesome grilled brussels!

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have!

Post Hurricane Michael Beach Vacation Plans

Post Hurricane Michael Beach Vacation Plans

Were you planning to come to Panama City Beach for your vacation this year and now think you need to find another location because of Hurricane Michael?

You keep those plans because the beach is still gorgeous and businesses are OPEN! We did have some damage on this side of the  bridge to Panama City, but not nearly what devastation that was sustained in the more Eastern areas. Comparitively, we were unscathed.

St Andrews State Park is where I do most of my sessions. They had a good amount of trees fall on the forest side, but the beach side is gorgeous! They have worked hard to clean up the forest area and it is open to visitors again.

I am opening my Spring and Summer scheduling already, but am only offering 50% of the session dates as before because I want to spend some time with my little boys this year. Last summer I booked up solid, sometimes adding last minute "pre-sunset" opotions to families that really wanted me to capture their memories.

When you book your rental this year, book your session with me at the same time to ensure you have your session time and date reserved. It breaks my heart to turn people away.

Be sure to check my pricing page, as I have made some changes to my packages and pricing.

Book early and come enjoy our gorgeous beaches again!

I look forward to seeing my repeat clients again and meeting all the new ones this year!

Panama City Beach Photographer

by

What defines a Panama City Beach Photographer? Well, I suppose anyone with a camera can be that. Now, lets say you want some professional photography images. How do you choose a photographer? There are so many? Well, I will tell you. You look at their images first. Do you like what you see? Are they high resolution? How large can you print their images? Here is what I see the most...WHAT DOES IT COST TO DO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY? is the photographer affordable? Well, that varies. We all value our time, equipment and expertise differently.

Here are my personal tips for finding the right Panama City Photographer:

1- Do you like their work. Look at their images on their website

2- Price. First off is it a session fee and then you buy images, or is it all inclusive? Secondly, is it within your budget?  This could work out to your benefit or land you with a bill larger than you want. You need to ask up front. My session fee includes image files as is stated in my pricing information, and you can then print on your own or go through my high quality lab for fine wall art.

3- Is your photographer available? If you wait until the last minute during peak season, it's likely your choice will be booked. Plan ahead for sure!!!

4- Image quality. image quality, image quality. You want High-Resolution images.

There are a lot of fine photographers out there. I know quite a few. Style and price seem to lead the most decisions. I hope this information helped you a little.

Panama City Beach Photographer and loving it!

by

What a wonderful beach season this is! I have just loved getting to put my feet in the sand and capture memories for families that are visiting Panama City Beach. These families that I have had the opportunity to meet, have been amazing! Being a Panama City Beach photographer has been a blessing. Did I say I love this? I LOVE THIS!

I am constantly reading up on something photography related and working out a plan for the future. At the moment I have just stepped out into trying to get my name out there. Marketing strategies is something I am very new to. I'm a bit shy when it comes to trying to sell my skills. I'm working on that.

What lies ahead? I'm going FULL FRAME! I just purchased a major upgrade to my equipment. This means even better image quality! I'm very serious about this. I'm not just out to make a quick buck. I want my clients blown away by their images. This takes knowledge, technique, creativity and a keen eye for the quick capture. I'm not just working for me, I'm doing this for my clients!

I have just made available Fresh 48 images. What's that? These are candid images of your new baby at the hospital within 48 hours of birth. This is a no stress, relaxed session. No babies in a basket here. I am there to capture the first precious days of bonding. This session is affordable for all as I take payment and am keeping the cost down. I'm not doing birth yet, but may eventually step out into that.

Next on my list is opening up to weddings in the near future.

They say if you find  job you love, you will never work another day. It's great too!

The best part is meeting new families and making some wonderful images that they can appreciate for many years to come.

FINALLY a break!

by

It's 8:00. What a busy day! Fort building, house cleaning, playing in play dough, swinging...I loved every busy moment. It was mostly a play day today. Oh, did I mention Liam is now running??? I can hardly keep up. Looks like all my work is going to be during naps and after the children go to bed. I'm so very excited about branching off into Real Estate photography. How wonderful to add this! VERY EXCITING! I look forward to it.

Website Launch!

by

Here we go! I have been hoping to finally get a website and a convenient payment option for a long time. As a stay at home mom, I have a lot to do daily. It can get a bit crazy with a four year old and 12 month old. There's the dishes, the laundry, the constant vacuuming because of the dogs and the days we dig in the dirt. Family life is a blast! I'm carving back out some time for my other love, photography. The time and effort has paid off. My website is UP!

I'm venturing into a new area of photography, Real estate photography. I will be adding photos in the coming weeks.

The adventure continues!
